Miscarriage

Finished a powerful chapter this week in my upcoming memoir #ourinFERTILITY journey. My editor and I both choked back tears and repeatedly put it down and went back to it to get it done. It’s been 5 years since I suffered a miscarriage, and thinking back to that time, brings me right back to the pain I felt in my heart and mind. Though our lives have gone on and we have been beyond blessed through the years- It’s important to know that people suffer everyday from miscarriages. The pain is real no matter how early on in the pregnancy they are. Let’s keep this in mind, be there for each other, and most importantly not let these women suffer in silence. This happens more often than ever discussed, that in itself is not okay. Seeking help, advice, a shoulder to lean on, and keeping this the topic on the forefront should be the goal- Not to be quiet or feel embarrassed by a real issue in our society. Women should not have to suffer in silence. Lean on each other. Together we rise. .
