5 years ago I made a decision to not stop believing that I could conceive and carry a child, no matter what the doctors or science told me. Looking back, my conviction was so deep that I didn’t realize how scary it actually was to not really know if my dream would ever become a reality. Ignorance is bliss they say. Although 5 years have passed, any time I think back to that time, my emotions are as raw as the moment I went through them. Today, I see this view and can’t help but think that if I didn’t have conviction, belief, and faith in the seemingly impossible (or if ignorance wasn’t bliss 😉)- how different would my view be? I can’t even begin to imagine.
